Reaching Educating Encouraging Loving children to share the love of Jesus and the message of the gospel! Preschool (ages 3-5) and Elementary (K through 5th grade) kids have an awesome Christ-centered ministry of their own during Sunday services. 

Curriculum

We believe in teaching and educating your children from God’s Word. We have chosen a curriculum called The Gospel Project that helps us teach from Genesis to Revelation.

Grade level lessons are age appropriate for children to understand clearly what is being taught.

This curriculum incorporates video clips of Bible stories, classroom activities and work sheets.

Nursery (birth-2yrs)

The Nursery is open during the entire service. You may take your child there at any time. Please communicate any special needs to the teacher.

ALSO in the Sunday School wing, we have a room for NURSING MOTHERS. the service is streamed here

Sunday School Procedure

  1. Upon arrival at the church, check your children in, using either the KidCheck station or mobile app.
  2. As soon as your receive your tags, please apply them to your child and yourself.
  3. Everyone will participate in worship together as a family. Before the sermon begins you will see a slide on the screen dismissing the children to their classes.
  4. You are to escort your children downstairs to the Tank, or R.E.E.L. Life Kids Media/Rockfish room.
  5. Upon gathering, your children will engage in a welcome, prayer, introduction to the topic, watch the video clip and be dismissed with their teacher to their age-appropriate classroom for further activities and snack.
  6. After service has ended, please pick your children up from their classroom. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO HAVE YOUR KidCheck TAG!!

Safety Procedures

RLC uses the KidCheck program that benefits the family and the teacher regarding the safety of your child(ren).

Specifics of using this program are provided at the KidCheck station. As well, there will be someone at the station to answer any questions.

The guardian MUST show their tag to pick up their child. We will NOT release your child to come find you. You must come to the classroom to retrieve your child.

**In case of emergency, the teachers will evacuate the children in an orderly fashion. You may retrieve your child in the parking lot by showing your tag.
